Stephan A. Zaremba, age 71, a resident of Tewksbury for 34 years, formerly of Andover, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital on Monday evening, October 21, 2024.
He was the beloved husband of Sharon C. (O’Neill) Zaremba, with whom he celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on October 14, 2024.
Born in Lawrence on June 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Stanley A. Zaremba and the late M. Theresa (Beaudoin) Zaremba.
Stephan was raised in Andover and graduated from Andover High School in 1971.
Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated a local flooring company.
He enjoyed numerous activities including riding and showing Arabian horses, bowling, shooting darts, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycles, and driving his Corvette and Van.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Betty L. Zaremba and her late husband Joseph Reynolds, of Laconia, NH, Stephanie L. Guthro and her husband Joseph, of Ontario, CA, and Stephan A. Zaremba, Jr. and his wife Erin, of Londonderry, NH. Stephan was the grandfather of Matthew Guthro, Jordan Stouffer, Emma and Carter Zaremba, and the late Collin Zaremba, and brother of Cindy McGregor and her late husband Barry, of Sandown, NH, Robert Zaremba and his wife Dawn, of Auburn, NH, Lynn Gagnon and her husband John, of Sandown, NH, and the late Christopher Zaremba. He leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 25th, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., immediately followed by a memorial prayer service at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury.
