Albert Lee Hendrix, Jr., 62, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Glenn Fussell officiating. The family will greet friends following the services at the cemetery.
Mr. Hendrix was born September 9, 1962, in Fulton County, Georgia, to the late Albert Lee Hendrix, Sr. & Ella Faustine Barfield Watts. He was a loving brother and he enjoyed wood working, collecting watches, playing the guitar and watching wrestling and football. Mr. Hendrix was a member of Harvest Time Church of God in Douglas.
He is survived by two sisters: Dianne & Tony Jenkins of Fitzgerald and Angela & David Ring of Fitzgerald; a brother, Roger Wayne Hendrix of Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Hagler and a niece Cindy Griffin.
