Obituary

Allan Walter Davis was born on February 18, 1936, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the beloved son of William and Annie Davis and spent his life immersed in the vibrant culture of Boston, a city he cherished deeply.


He started his career at O.H. Burg Corporation when he was a young teen as an Electrical Technician, which spanned nearly 50 years, a testament to his dedication and commitment.


He was known for his engaging conversations, quick wit, and infectious laughter, often lightening the mood with his humor. A true enthusiast of automobiles, Allan enjoyed spending his spare time working on used cars and searching salvage yards for car parts. He enjoyed road trips, especially to his favorite place New York City. Always seen with his legendary tobacco pipe, he brought a unique charm to every outfit. Allan had a passion for action movies and a particular fondness for shellfish and seafood. His knack for storytelling made him a joy to be around, leaving friends and family captivated by his tales.


Allan is preceded in death by his parents William and Annie Davis, daughter Alana Davis, his six siblings Milford, Clarence, William (Barney), Leonard, Mary Gaines and Rita Rogers. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Allan will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the profound impact he had on so many lives. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 12:00 to 12:30pm, with a celebration of life service beginning at 12:30 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton.
