Katherine M. Adomaitis, age 74, passed away on October 17, 2024. She was born on October 13, 1950 in Springfield, daughter of the late Alphonse Adomaitis and Margaret (Simonich) Normand. Katherine was a communicant of the former Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She worked as a clerk for Mass Mutual in the Senior Services Department for many years before she retired. She loved horses, listening to Elvis and was known by all as a loving, caring and giving person. She is survived by her daughter Andrea Mason and her husband David of Chicopee; her brother Joseph “Michael” Normand and his wife Elizabeth of Marston Mills and two beloved grandchildren who adored their “Mema”, Ian and Alexander. She also leaves extended family members and close friends who will miss her dearly. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A private burial will be held at a later date.
