Patricia Virginia (Richards) Gil of Mattapan, (affectionately known as Patsy, Pat, Patty and Pa) passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the blessed age of 82. She was loving, generous, devoted, proud, faithful and protective in her role as mother to Keri Melita (Richards Souffrain) Ramirez, mother-in-law to Cesar Ramirez, stepmother to Yaniry Gil, Juan Luis Gil and Wenddy Gil, godmother to Darsey Fontes and Seth Targete and surrogate mother to Caridad Dominguez and Ana Dominguez. She was an admirably passionate advocate for the well-being of others; tirelessly dedicated to making sure that every child within her reach had access to a good education. She leaves behind cousins, nieces/nephews, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, friends, co-workers, neighbors, clients and a city that were all blessed by having known her. A memorial service to honor her incredible life will be held at Brady and Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower Street in Jamaica Plain (opposite the Forest Hills MBTA station) on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm.

Patricia Virginia (Richards) Gil de Mattapan, (cariñosamente conocida como Patsy, Pat, Patty y Pa) falleció el jueves 3 de octubre de 2024 a la edad bendita de 82 años. Era amorosa, generosa, devota, orgullosa, fiel y protectora en su papel de madre de Keri Melita (Richards Souffrain) Ramírez, suegra de Cesar Ramirez, madrastra de Yaniry Gil, Juan Luis Gil y Wenddy Gil, madrina de Darsey Fontes y Seth Targete y madre de crianza de Caridad Domínguez y Ana Dominguez. Fue admirablemente apasionada como defensora del bienestar de los demás; incansablemente dedicada a asegurarse de que cada niño a su alcance tuviera acceso a una buena educación. Ella deja atras primos, sobrinos, hijos, nietos, bisnietos, familiares políticas, amigos, compañeros de trabajo, vecinos, clientes y una ciudad que fueron todos bendecidos por haberla conocido. Se llevará a cabo un servicio conmemorativo para honrar su increíble vida en Brady and Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower Street en Jamaica Plain (frente a la estación MBTA de Forest Hills) el lunes 28 de octubre de 2024, de 6pm a 8pm.
