SANBORNTON ---- Earline P. Sanborn, 96, of Sanbornton NH, moved to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday October 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Earline was born on April 14, 1928 in Laconia, to William and Florance (Chase) Pearson.
Earline grew up in Laconia, where she attended Laconia High School and graduated in 1946. She went on to work at Woolworths, where she met and later married the love of her life of 71 years, Robert Sanborn. Together, Earline and Robert raised six children and in 1968 established Alphacolor Inc. where she managed the bookkeeping for 40 years, retiring only in her seventies.
Earline was an active member at South Baptist Church and served at the church with her husband Robert for many years. In 2012, she and Robert became members of Faith Alive Christian Fellowship, which their son John Sanborn and his wife, Deborah established. Earline’s faith in the saving grace of Jesus Christ was evident in the way she lived her entire life.
In her younger years, Earline found joy in playing the piano and, above all, raising her children. Later, she cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After her husband Robert passed in 2021, Earline moved in with her daughter Nancy and husband Drew McKeen of Sanbornton. Earline enjoyed spending time with friends Steve and Kathy Murphy of Laconia as well as her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her days were filled with puzzles, road trips, mocha lattes and even the odd trip to Funspot for some bowling with her grandchildren. There was no shortage of love in Earline’s life.
Earline follows her husband Robert into Glory, as well as her parents, William and Florance Pearson, brothers Russel, Milton, Verne and Malcolm and sisters Marjorie, Madeline and Christine.
Earline is survived by her and Roberts six children; Cheryl Morin and her husband John, Bob Sanborn and his wife Janet, Barbara Bidwell and her husband Bob, John Sanborn and his wife Deborah, Nancy McKeen and her husband Drew and Donald Sanborn and his fiance Kris. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
