CORNISH- Russell “Russ” Keyser of Cornish, passed away in Buxton on October 15, 2024.
He was born on October 17, 1938, to parents Mildred (Wakem) and Elwood Keyser in Baltimore,
Maryland.
In his childhood, he moved to Virginia, and later to Maine. He spent 11 years with his significant
other Donna Mills and was previously married to his late wife Florence.
Through his life Russ enjoyed spending time working in his beautiful flower and vegetable
gardens, picking wildflowers, distributing flowers to florists during holiday seasons, watching
TV especially American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Fishing shows, and in his earlier years he enjoyed
fishing! Russ spent the majority of his working years doing odd-jobs, and was passionate in
many areas.
Russ is preceded in death by his parents Elwood and Mildred, his step-daughter Sylvia, step- son
Albert Hibbard, and his late wife Florence.
Russ is survived by his partner Donna Mills, one step-grandson Vaun Dinger and one step-great
grandson Nicky Harrington, and his step-sons- Victor Wheeler, Dicky Wheeler.
A burial will be held privately with his closest family.
