Anne Marie (Egan) Pladziewicz, age 63, of Medford passed away on Monday, October 14th, at Winchester Hospital. Raised and educated in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Egan and the late Patricia L. (Devaney) (Egan) Banker. Anne Marie loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and her dog (in fact, she called everyone “Puppy”). Anne Marie will be remembered by all who knew her for the beautiful smile she had for everyone she met.
Anne Marie was the beloved wife of Mark Pladziewicz, and the devoted mother of Eddie Winters, and Ashley Colon and her husband Angel. She was the loving grandmother of Delilah, Blake, Julien, Jesse and Javian, and the dear sister of Patricia Devereaux, Theresa Melia, Joan Sartell, Angela Wargo, Mel Banker, and the late Edward Egan and Jamie Egan. Anne Marie was the sister-in-law of Dr. Paul Pladziewicz and his late wife Ramona, Dr. David Pladziewicz and his wife Dr. Katy Vitielo, Jane Nice and her husband Bill, and the late Dr. John A. Pladziewicz and his surviving wife Terri. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Anne Marie’s family on Sunday, October 20th from 2 through 6 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, and again on Monday morning, October 21st for a service in the funeral home at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
