Westbrook – William “Bill” Frederick Leen, age 68, passed away peacefully at home in his wife Judi’s loving arms on October 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer that he handled with grace and dignity.
He was born in Portland, ME on September 17th, 1956. Son of the late Carroll Leen and late Ann (Reeves) McCann. After school he started his career at Nesco as a designer and installer of countertops. He then worked for the state of Maine as an inspector. His love of the outdoors and the ocean led him to become a sternman with his long-time friend and lobersterman Scott Doherty.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife and making lifelong memories. He loved playing pool and was in many leagues and was an avid New England sports fan and loved spending time with his beloved family and friends.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Judi (Thibodeau) Leen; his sister Sue-Ellen (Leen) Crawford and her husband Brad, his brother Peter Leen and his wife Tammy, his sister Andrea Leen, his sister Tracy (Leen) Billiot, his sister Syndey (Leen) Bauersfeld and her husband Kris, brother-in-law Ken Thibodeau, sister-in-law Debbie Thibodeau and her husband Vance Wilt, brother-in-law Scott Thibodeau and his wife Barbie Scott, his mother-in-law Merleen Thibodeau, his aunt Jean Sullivan, and several nephews and nieces - Joshu, Matt, Theresa, Ashley, Tyler, Adam, Mandy, Kenny, Ryan and Derek.
