RuthAnn (Weigle) Rafferty, Born May 20, 1935 died peacefully with family at her side on October 14, 2024.
Originally from Bay City, MI, RuthAnn was one of 9 children. She is predeceased by her husband, Gerald Rafferty and daughter, Kathleen (Rafferty) Caswell.
She was a medical assistant prior to marriage where she met her husband, Gerald, while a patient of hers. She was a homemaker while raising her 8 children, after which, she returned to the medical profession.
She is survived by sister, Florence Koehler, of Bay City, MI and brother, Frank Weigle of Detroit, MI. and her children, Mary Burt and her husband William Burt of North Andover, John Rafferty of San Diego, CA, Dr. Thomas Rafferty, Andover, MA, Joseph Rafferty and wife Karen Rafferty of Aldie, VA, Martha Rafferty of Tewksbury, MA, James Rafferty and wife Linda Rafferty of Beverly, MA and Emily Webster and husband Dr. Mark Webster of North Andover MA.
RuthAnn’s greatest joy was watching her 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren grow. She took great pride in bragging about them to anyone who would listen.
