Jessann (Phillips) Abbott Hughes, 83 of Frankton, died October 8, 2024 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after an extended illness.
She was born April 28, 1941 in Oneida, Tennessee, the daughter of Jesse and Cordelia (Owens) Phillips. She was a homemaker. She married James C. Abbott on December 27, 1957 in Chesterfield
She is survived by her two children, James Abbott of Frankton and Durinda M. Abbott of Anderson; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouses, James Abbott and William E. Hughes and several siblings.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19 at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville with Rev. Paul Storm of Redeemer Baptist Church officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
