Elaine E. (Tutela) Cesario, age 87, of Reading passed away on Friday, October 11th. at Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. Born in Medford, she was raised and educated in Somerville, the daughter of the late Diamonte and Florence (Trebino) Tutela. Elaine married and raised her children in Lexington before settling in Reading over 20 years ago.
Elaine was generous, devoted, kind and nurturing with her whole family. She enjoyed puzzles, games, food and long phone conversations. Elaine was an old school Italian family matriarch who cherished summers spent in Dennis Port, with the extended family all gathered together..
Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Raymond I. Cesario, and the devoted mother of Raymond Cesario and his wife Connie, James Cesario and his wife Jacqueline, and David Cesario and his wife Lori. She was the loving grandmother of Carolyn and her husband Tim, Stephanie and her husband Jim, Jessica and her husband Matt, Vincent, James and his fiancée Abbilyn, Anthony and his wife Victoria, Nicole, Alyssa and Sophia. Elaine was the cherished great grandmother of Lily, Thomas and Nico, and dear sister of Diamond Tutela and his wife Leila, Sylvia Butera and her husband Dominic, and the late Barbara and Sonny Accaputo and Vincent Tutela. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 10-11:30 AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a service in the funeral home and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
