Patricia A. (Panaro) McPherson, age 72, of Mansfield, formerly of Norton, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her adoring family on Thursday, October 10, 2024. She was the beloved wife of John F. McPherson, to whom she was wed on April 1, 2006.
Born in Boston, MA on October 13, 1951, she was a loving daughter of the late Urban W. and Philomina (Tropeano) Panaro.
Paddi grew up on the South Shore in Weymouth and was a graduate of Weymouth High School. Before retiring, she had been employed as a sales manager at Reed & Barton in Taunton and was a familiar face at Downtown Pizza in Norton, where she worked as a waitress and manager.
Paddi treasured the times spent with her family, especially sharing her love for baking with her granddaughter Avery. Her other hobbies included collecting Longaberger Baskets, crafts and sewing.
In addition to her husband of eighteen years, she was the devoted mother of Alicia A. Cota and her husband Bryan of Norton, Melissa A. McPherson of Attleboro and Meghan J. Cameron of England. She was the cherished and proud and grandmother of Alexander Bennette of New York, Joseph Moran of Plainville and Avery Fernandes of Norton. She was the dear sister of the late Urban Panaro and is also survived by her loving nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, October 17th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
A funeral procession will form on Friday, October 18th beginning at 9:30 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home and depart for the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield where a graveside service will take place at 11:00 A.M
