Cuc Dao, 83, of Worcester died on Wednesday, October 9 th at home surrounded by her
loving family. She leaves her husband of 65 years Thinh Nguyen; their children, Long
Nguyen and his wife, Thu Pham, Huyen Nguyen and her husband, Tri Nguyen, Huy
Nguyen and his wife, Yen Tran, Huong Nguyen and her husband, Dung Tran, Tho
Nguyen and her husband, Lam Nguyen, Hai Nguyen and his wife, Phuong Dao, Hoang
Nguyen and his wife, Tram Tran, and Tung Nguyen and his wife, Tuyen Nguyen;
grandchildren, Jennifer Nguyen, Justin Nguyen, Tiffany Nguyen, Benjamin Nguyen,
Brandon Nguyen, Ethan Nguyen, Emma Nguyen, Christina Tran, Bryan Tran, Aiden
Tran, Phuc Nguyen and her husband, Sang Truong, Ngoc Nguyen, Tran Nguyen, Hung
Nguyen, Julia Nguyen, Cheryl Nguyen, Emily Nguyen, and Van Nguyen; her sisters,
Hoa Dao, Sen Dao, and extended family and friends.
She was born in Ninh Binh, Vietnam and spent over 30 years running a coffee shop
before immigrated to the United States in 2007. Her deep faith was central to her life,
she was a devout Catholic and a dedicated member of Our Lady of Vilna Church. She
prayed the rosary daily.
Cuc had a passion for shopping and jewelry and always found joy in spending quality
time with her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness and unwavering
devotion to her faith.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18 th at 3:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR
BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m.
Burial will be held in Vietnam.
