Nancy A. Brown, 75

Nancy A. (Giampietro) Brown, age 75, of Norton, passed away comfortably at home, in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, October 10, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Fred N. Brown, to whom she was wed on May 9, 1970.
Born in Norwood, MA on November 17, 1948, she was a loving daughter of the late Antonio and Sabina (Lamonica) Giampietro.
Nancy grew up in Walpole and was a 1967 graduate of Walpole High School. She had made her home in Norton for the past forty-nine years, was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and previously worked at Sinclair Manufacturing in the Chartley section of Norton and at the Chase Dining Hall at Wheaton College in Norton as well.
Nancy’s family, whom she loved dearly were truly the essence of her life. She was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton, a member of the Norton Senior Center, enjoyed attending car shows with her husband Fred in their 1948 Packard and having fun scratching tickets. Nancy’s former hobbies also included painting ceramics and knitting.
In addition to her husband of fifty-four years, she is survived by her devoted daughters Melanie A. Brown and her husband Paul Baepler of Minnesota and Sherry L. Curley and her husband Patrick of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Krystal Eddy and her husband Jake of Indiana, Justin Kiander and his fiancé Adorrah-Le Khan of Arlington, Samuel Curley of Mansfield, Cora Curley of Mansfield, Patrick Curley and his fiancé Julia Bourassa of Attleboro and Caelin Curley and her partner Dan Slye of Walpole. She was the dear sister of the late Andrew Giampietro, Mary Pedini, Annie Giampietro, Nicholas Giampietro, Warren Giampietro and Robert Giampietro. She is also survived by her much-loved nieces and nephews, including Linda Faria of Plainville, with whom she grew up and was a lifelong best friend.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, October 14th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 15th at 10:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.
