It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of G Antonieta Carey (Fernandez) of Canton, GA, formerly of Wellesley, on October 9th, 2024. Toni was a devoted mother to her beloved sons, Julian Carey and his partner Diana Maichin, and Dermot Carey and his wife Amanda Carey. She was a cherished grandmother to her precious grandchildren, Desmond Martin, Emmett Edmond, and Lois Antonieta.
Toni was preceded in death by her dear parents, Alberto Fernandez and Graciela Machado. Her warmth, kindness, and love will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we celebrate her life, we remember the joy she brought to those around her and the enduring legacy of love she leaves behind.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) Wellesley on Monday, Oct. 14 from 9:00-10:45am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
