Kevin McCluskey, a beloved son, loving father, and cherished partner, passed away unexpectedly on October 4th 2024, at the age of 36. Born on July 2, 1988, in South Boston, MA, son of Mary Flaherty and Stephen McCluskey, and stepson to John Flaherty. Kevin was a proud father to his daughter, Keira McCluskey, who brought him immense joy.
He was a loving brother to Shannon Flaherty, Thomas Flaherty, Matthew Flaherty, Steven McCluskey, Shaun McDonald and Debra McDonald. Kevin’s family was his world, and he always made time for those he loved. You could find him spending time with his family and friends, keeping smiles on their faces at all times.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Lisa Clark, and together they built a life filled with love and support. Their relationship was marked by mutual respect and a commitment to one another.
Kevin had deep roots in South Boston, a place he called home with pride. He enjoyed spending time in the community and was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. His warmth and kindness touched everyone around him. Kevin had a presence about him that would light up a room - no matter how dim.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston where family and friends can gather to remember the love and joy he brought into their lives on Tuesday, Oct 15 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local charity in his honor.
Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, Kevin.
