Obituary

Alfred M. “Skip” Robb, Jr., 78, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 8, 2024, at his home in Derry. He was born on October 22, 1945, in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Alfred M. Robb Sr. and Laura (Kissel) Winters. Skip proudly served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam. He was also very proud of his Scottish Heritage and loved listening to Scottish music and bagpipes. Skip worked as a laser technician for GSI and later worked for Raytheon. He enjoyed playing pool and 45’s. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and dancing. Skip was a member of the VFW Post #1617 in Derry.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kim Savard of Derry and Janell Robb and her husband Sergej Müller of Berlin, Germany; and one grandchild, Jason Savard of Salem, NH. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Robb.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 17th from 9 – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
