DUDLEY – Charlotte J. (Monroe) Halley, 71, died Monday, October 7, 2024 in UMass/Memorial University Campus with family at her side.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Kenneth A. Halley; a son, Keith A. Halley and his companion Katie R. Heang of Waltham; a daughter, Karen M. Tobolski and her husband Christopher of Webster; a granddaughter, Samantha M. Tinsley and her significant other Eric Silva of Oxford; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother John Monroe and her sister Theresa Barrett.
She was born on July 31, 1953 in Worcester to John and Doris (Leblanc) Monroe and graduated from Leicester High School. She earned an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Quinsigamond Community College. She and her husband lived in Worcester, Oxford, Webster and Thompson, CT before moving here in 2021.
Mrs. Halley was a dental hygienist at Dr. Trotsky’s office in Oxford for many years. Currently, she was a shuttle bus driver for UMass/Memorial Hospitals.
Charlotte and her husband enjoyed traveling. They went on six cruises and visited Aruba and St. Martin several times. They even travelled to China.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
