John A. Mrozek, 86, of Bedford, NH, died Monday October 7, 2024 in The Courville at Bedford - Carlyle Place in Bedford, NH. He was born in Methuen, MA on January 17, 1938, a son of the late Stanley and Genevieve (Zebrowski) Mrozek. John grew up in Manchester, NH, went to Central High School, St. Anslem's, St. Bonaventure's and Villanova. John had been a resident of Bedford - Carlyle Place since 2021, formerly living in Manchester and Londonderry, NH. He had also lived in Florida, California and Michigan before coming back to Southern NH. He served our Country in the US Army. John had been employed in pharmaceutical sales for Alcon Surgical, where he was often the top salesman in the country. Prior to Alcon, he was a teacher, and loved to teach about History. He did so at Matthew Thornton in Londonderry as well as NY and Florida. He loved travel, culture, dancing, ice cream and to watch the game, especially basketball and the Celtics.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Mrozek of Bedford; his ex-wife Joanne Mrozek; and his sister, Bonnie Hartley.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, October 11th from 9:30am - 10:30am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
