Obituary

Paul William Severino, 40, formerly of Derry, NH, passed away Tuesday October 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and friends in Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, NH. He was born on May 17, 1984 in Winchester, MA, a son of Gerard and Laura (Buzzelle) Severino. Paul worked for Advantage Truck Group as a diesel technician. He loved to ride motorcycles with his father and brother and was especially proud of the new Harley Davidson he purchased this spring. Paul loved family get togethers for holidays, backyard cookouts and hanging around a fire pit. He would always be the first to arrive. Time spent hanging out with his 2 brothers was always a great time with lots of laughs courtesy of Paul and his great sense of humor. Paul also enjoyed playing cornhole with his brothers and hanging out with his brood of friends. He would take an annual trip up into Vermont to spend time with his friends, living off the land, having a camp out, bonfires and just enjoying each other’s company. Paul was passionate about music, often playing the role of family DJ for all the get togethers. He also had an obsession for all things Bigfoot related, including a growing collection of Bigfoot items. His ever-present sense of humor will be greatly missed by anyone who had the privilege of meeting him.

Paul is survived by his fiancé, BobbiJo Merrill of Manchester and her son Damien Sweeney, his parents, Gerard and Laura of Derry, his two brothers, Jason Severino and wife Lindsey of Sandown, NH and Anthony Severino and fiancé Jamie Benedetto of Fremont, NH; his three nieces and one nephew, Emma-Lynne, Taylee, Aleena and CJ; aunts and uncles, Christine Buzzelle, Stephen and Cathy Buzzelle and Lisa Langlois; as well as many extended family and amazing friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 7th from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A funeral service will begin at 7:00pm in the funeral home with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
