Worcester – William J. Evans, 76, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 in the UMass Memorial medical Center – University Campus after an illness.
Mr. Evans is survived by his family including his wife, Anne Marie (Boffoli) Evans. He was born in Boston, son of the late Thomas and Anna (Diamond) Evans.
Bill proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a computer programmer which also lead him to his personal enjoyment of always being on his computer. He had a fun-loving personality and was always looking forward to playing a game of cards or taking a chance on a scratch ticket.
Private burial with military honors was held in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
