Sandra L. (Tilton) Eddleston, 64, of Rochester died Sunday July 30, 2006 at home. She was the wife of the late Neal E. Eddleston.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Isiah and Hilma (Bowman) Tilton, she lived in Cuttyhunk, Fairhaven, and Rochester for most of her life.
Mrs. Eddleston was formerly employed as a cafeteria worker at Tabor Academy for 15 years. She had previously been employed by ComElectric.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed bowling, crocheting, knitting, and trips to Foxwoods.
Survivors include seven children, Terri Ridings of New Bedford, Sandy Adams and Vanessa Ridings, both of Taunton, Abraham Ridings of Cape Coral, FL, Courtland Ridings of Mattapoisett, Tara Eddleston of Fairhaven, and Jason Eddleston of Rochester; a sister, Marcia Kelce of Albuquerque, NM; a brother, Carl James Tilton of Fairhaven; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Scott Tilton.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 1st at 7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett. Her family will receive visitors prior to the service from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations of whole blood to Southcoast Hospitals would be appreciated.
