CENTER HARBOR ---- It is with great sadness that the family reports the death of Gordon E. Haslam, Sr., 80, of Clovis, California.
He was in New Hampshire visiting family for a family reunion when he passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at his nephew Michael’s house peacefully in his sleep.
The son of Millard Haslam and Janet MacDonald Haslam, he graduated from Inter-Lakes High School, class of 1962. He joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Hawaii. In 1967, he married Elizabeth Dumais of Laconia, in Hawaii. After his military service they started their life and raised their family in California.
Throughout the years Gordon worked several jobs but was most proud of his job as a respiratory therapist. He and Elizabeth loved to return to their roots to visit family.
Gordon is predeceased by his parents, Millard and Janet; his wife Elizabeth; his brothers Lonnie Haslam and Michael Haslam, and Michael’s wife Celeste Haslam; niece Jessica Haslam and nephew Anthony Hurd.
He is survived by his sons, Gordon and wife Rachel, and their sons Brian and Sean Haslam, and Gary and wife Stephanie and their son Carson Haslam, all of California; his sisters, Coralie Linda Dickinson and husband Allen of Meredith, Patsy Hurd of Meredith and Melody Murrell of New Mexico; sister-in-law Donna Haslam of California; many nieces, nephews and many, many cousins; and his best friend, his dog Elvis.
