Mildred Kravitz, 87, a resident of the Auburndale section of Newton died on July 29, 2006 in the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged in Roslindale.
Daughter of the late Adolph and Ira (Toporovski) Kravitz she was also the sister of the late Pauline Kravitz Shrier Mason who died in 2002. Survivors include her nephews, Dr. Peter Shrier of Sherman Oaks, CA and David Shrier of Philadelphia, PA. She was the great-aunt of Aaron, Ethan, Sonja, Carlin, Aryeh, and Leah.
Graveside funeral services will be held in the Rabbi Isaac Elchonen Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Memorial observance will be private. Those wishing to remember Mildred may do so through memorial donations to the Hebrew College, 160 Herrick Rd. Newton Centre, MA 02459.
