Jane C. (Stefanik) Rutkowski, age 88, passed away on September 22, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. Jane was born on November 14, 1935 in Chicopee, daughter of the late Carl and Jadwiga Stefanik. Jane worked for several dry cleaners in the Chicopee, Springfield and Ludlow areas. She retired from Mirkens dry cleaners as the manager. She enjoyed taking trips to the casino and going to Bingo nights. She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Max Rutkowski who passed away in 2021. She is survived by her son Michael Rutkowski and his wife Holly of Holland; two daughters, Donna Rutkowski and her partner Jodie Lapiere of Chicopee and Lynn Chicoine of Monson; nieces and nephews, Joyce Koerber, Robert Koerber, Stanley Zelinski, Helen Skerritt; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with many other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
