She was an active member in the community, supporting Kiwanis and the Rotary Club for the annual auctions and events to support others. She had an amazing green thumb, winning awards for her patio garden and unique flowers from her local Garden Club. She enjoyed socializing and was always eager to learn. She participated at monthly meetings and bingo with the West Roxbury Seniors and took numerous bus trips all over the east coast. Fifteen years ago, she learned to play Mahjong loved her weekly games with the ladies that she met at the Boston Public Library. Another favorite was taking computer class at the Ohrenberger School, nothing stopped her, she was a progressive woman, nothing stopped her, she was always eager to learn.

She was a class act and lived a full and happy life. Always up for a good laugh and she had a bright presence that lit up any room and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
