Barbara Jean (Romano) Crisafi, of Winchester, MA passed away peacefully at the age of 93. Beloved wife of 71 years to Bob Crisafi. She is the loving mother of Donna Shipley and her husband Craig of Destin, FL, Lisa Jackson and her husband Michael of Methuen, and dear sister to June Marzeotti and George Romano Jr. She is also survived by three cherished grandchildren: Ashley Ruffier, Caitlin Roberts and Casey Jackson, along with two great granddaughters, Brooke and Carlee Ruffier, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born in Everett to the late George and Ann Romano, Barbara was a graduate of Revere High School, class of 1949. She was a dedicated wife and stay-at-home mother who poured her heart into raising her children. Barbara dedicated many hours volunteering at the Winchester Hospital and Masonic Museum in Lexington. In addition to her volunteer work, Barbara was a passionate bowler, finding joy and camaraderie in the sport. Her competitive spirit and laughter brightened the bowling alley, where she made many lasting friendships.
Barbara's funeral will be held at the McLaughlin- Dello Russo Funeral Home located at 60 Pleasant Street, Woburn, MA on Thursday, October 3rd at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated at St. Eulalia's Catholic Church located at 50 Ridge Street, Winchester, MA at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 2nd, from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery located in Malden, MA.
