Albert E.V. Nault, 73, of Campton died July 28, 2006 at Speare Memorial Hospital, Plymouth after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on February 11, 1933, he was the son of Albert T. and Blanche (Roy) Nault. He grew up in Manchester and lived in Houston, TX many years before returning to New Hampshire 11 years ago.
During the Korean War, he served in the US Army. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire and a master's degree from Northeastern University.
Mr. Nault worked as a sales representative for IBM in New England and eastern Canada. He also was a builder and developer for many years in the Houston area and in New Hampshire. He developed the community of Sands of Brookhurst in Meredith. He was also in the bottling business in Jasper, TX and in Campton.
The family includes his wife of 38 years, Mary (Sweatt) Nault of Campton; three children, Gary Nault of Temecula, CA, Bryan Nault of Houston, TX and Linda Nault of Tomball, TX; three step children, Michael Maxwell and Sean Maxwell both of Houston, TX and Leslie Maxwell of Campton; four grandchildren and three step grandchildren; his mother of Bedford; a brother, Richard Nault of Manchester; two sisters, Phyllis Schultz of Topsham, VT and Jane Blais of Bedford; one aunt and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Monday July 31, 2006 in the funeral home. Private burial was in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
