Penny G. Nostrant, 82, of Londonderry, NH, died Thursday September 26, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 17, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA, a daughter of the late John Simel and Lucille (Olsen) Geren. She had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 15 years, having moved from California in 1986. Penny had been employed as a respiratory therapist for many years. She was an avid animal lover; loved her cat Bella, and was a member of the Ferret club in NH. Penny loved people in general and enjoyed going on cruises even as recently as two months ago.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne L. Nostrant and his wife Chong-In of Euless, TX, Owen P. Nostrant and his wife Deena of Thousand Oaks, CA; her daughter, Alisha D. Godwin of Derry, NH; three grandchildren, Michelle Florence and her husband Devon of Marysville, WA, Stephanie Dillon and her husband Dave of Dalton, NH, and Ryan Nostrant of Thousand Oaks, CA; four great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Sylvia Nostrant of Williamsburg, VA. She was predeceased by her son, Christopher M. Nostrant.
In keeping with Penny’s wishes, there will be no services scheduled following cremation. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
