Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Ocilla Baptist Church in Ocilla, with the Rev. Billy Stephens and the Rev. Andrew Wilder officiating. Interment will follow in Arp Cemetery in Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Saturday evening at Ocilla Baptist Church

Mrs. Wilder was born August 31, 1962, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Eugene Milton “Gene” Reeves, Sr. and the late Inez Brock Reeves. She was a 1980 graduate of Irwin County High School. She enjoyed playing church league softball in her younger years. She worked at the Bank of Ocilla, was the client relations supervisor for Sunny Dale Training Center, and more recently the testing coordinator for Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. She was a country girl at heart and enjoyed being outside in her yard and cutting grass. She enjoyed the simple beauty of a sunrise and a sunset. A member of Ocilla Baptist Church, she taught Sunday school for many years and was active in the Women’s Ministry craft group. She dearly loved her grandchildren. Perhaps her favorite title was that of YaYa and traveling to see her grands or going on golf cart rides with them were cherished times.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Billy Wilder of Ocilla; children and their spouses: Andrew Wilder & Ashleigh of Augusta and Dana Wilder Giddens & Brandon of Glennville; grandchildren: Tinsley Grace Giddens, Landry Wilder, Lawson Giddens, and Crosby Reeves Wilder; siblings and their spouses: Linda Smith & Kyle of Ashburn, Eugene Milton Reeves, Jr. & Mary Jo of the Arp community, Kay McIntyre of Irwinville, Wayne Reeves & Donna Jean of the Arp community, Brenda Busbin of Ocilla, and Bruce Wilder & Missy of Fitzgerald; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers-in-law: Roger McIntyre, Van Clark, and A.D. “Anthony” Busbin.

Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests those desiring to send memorials may send them to Ocilla Baptist Church, P.O. Box 101, Ocilla, GA 31774 or to Arp Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 624, Fitzgerald, GA 31750.
