Mary "Bea" (Normanly) Harney of Canton, passed away on September 24, 2024. Born in Ballincurry, Co. Sligo, Ireland. She came to the United States as a teenager and finished school at Mount Alvernia High School.
She went on to meet and marry her late husband of over 50 years, John Christopher Harney, in 1968 and they started City Lock Company together.
She had a warm and caring nature and always opened her heart and home to everybody with a smile on her face and a warm meal on the table. That same warm nature led her to become a nurse and do what she did best, caring for others.
After retiring, her and her husband, Chris, enjoyed many winters at their home in Florida. Above all else, she cherished her role as a grandmother to her nine grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.
