Obituary

Timothy P. Keohane of Dedham passed away on September 22, 2024. Beloved husband of Mary M. (Norton) Keohane. Devoted father of Kristine Keohane of Dedham. Dear brother of Patricia Campisi of Winthrop, Susan McClellan of Marlborough, and James Keohane of Plymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tim was born and raised in Brookline, MA. He was a graduate of Brookline High School and Bunker Hill Community College. Tim work at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital as a Hemodialysis Tech and the Jamaica Plain VA Hospital. He went back to school in the late 80’s and became an X-ray tech at the VA Hospital in Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury until he retired in 2016. Tim was a devoted husband to his wife Mary of 40 years. Tim and Mary raised their daughter Kristine in Dedham. Tim was a dedicated father and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed going on cruises to the Caribbean, Hawaii and Alaska.

Tim passed away surrounded by family after a 12 week stay in the Brigham and Women’s Cardiac ICU. He still had his smile and sense of humor and sarcasm til the end. The family extends great gratitude to the amazing CCU staff for their care and empathy throughout Tim’s stay.

Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Wednesday, October 2nd at 9:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 420 High Street, Dedham at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Private.

Visiting Hours Tuesday, October 1st from 4pm to 8pm in the Funeral Home.
