Wanda LaVelle Nevieau, 90, of Tifton entered peacefully into rest on Sunday , September 22, 2024, at Harborview Tifton.
Born February 26, 1934, in Tifton, Ms. Nevieau was the daughter of the late Bryant Delk and Myrtle Hurst Delk. She was also proceeded in death by two brothers, Clarence Delk and R. B. Delk; one sister, Jean Baldree; and one son, Tommy Nevieau.
She was a loving mother and she enjoyed being outdoors, working in the yard, and fishing with her brother, R. B. Delk. She especially loved walking on the beach. She spent the majority of her working career as an Executive Assistant at an insurance firm in Miami, Florida. Upon retiring, she moved back to Tifton, where she worked part-time at Bill Mugg Company. She always had a cat as a pet and showed genuine affection for all cats.
