WEBSTER – Donna E. “Sadie” (Siegmund) Belanger, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
She is survived by 2 sons, Frank V. Belanger, and Tony Belanger and his girlfriend Laurie Casavant, all of Webster; a granddaughter, Arianna Rose Belanger of Dudley; and cousins, other family members and close friends. She also leaves her beloved dog Aggie.
She was born on November 17, 1950 in Worcester, the daughter of Donald and Rita C. (Daniels) Siegmund and lived in Webster most of her life. She earned an associates degree from Quinsigamund Community College in Worcester.
She worked in various capacities in the airline industry including being a stewardess and baggage handler. She was an administrator at King Courier Transportation Company before retiring in 2017.
Sadie was an avid aviation enthusiast. She enjoyed chasing lighthouses throughout New England, traveling, watching movies and solving crossword puzzles. She loved her dogs.
She was an ovarian cancer survivor and had fought a small bout with uterus cancer. Her family and friends adored her witty charm, sarcasm and strong ways. She fought for and protected those around her.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, September 30, in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
