SANFORD- Kenneth Paul Roy Jr. born April 14, 1982, the son of Kenneth P Roy Sr. and Priscilla D Roy (Gagne) passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Sept. 20, 2024.
Ken or Kenny as a lot of people called him attended Sanford schools for all of his childhood and after high school attended Lifeworks day program multiple times a week. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and the people who worked there doing activities and going on outings like bowling and shopping.
He could light up a room with just his smile and laugh. His infectious smile endeared him to many many people over the years. He wasn’t able to communicate with words but his smile and laugh made everyone around him happier. He made everyone’s world a better place just by being in it.
He will always be the heart and soul of his family. He loved spending time with his family. Birthdays and holidays were his favorite he loved the sound of presents being opened he would smile a laugh every time Someone ripped and crinkled the wrapping paper. He loved listening to 50’s music but put on country or Christmas music and he would let you know by being very vocal about his displeasure. He loved cuddling with his cats and they would cuddle up with him in his recliner for naps daily.
He is predeceased by his father Kenneth P Roy Sr. and his Sister Pamela A Williamson. Kenneth is survived by his Mother Priscilla D Roy. Sister Tina A Roy, Brother Kory P Roy, Sister Paula Victoria and her husband Santos Victoria, Niece Cheyenne A Roy, Nephews Nicholas Williamson, Guy Gilpatrick, William Murray, Alexander Pelletier, Brian Victoria, and Adam Victoria as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
