Mark A. Chiampa, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 68 years of age.
Mark was born on June 21, 1956, a son of the late Patrick W. Chiampa and Virginia (Fidler) Chiampa. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated throughout the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1974. Marked worked as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 20 years.
Mark is the beloved son of the late Patrick W. Chiampa and Virginia (Fidler) Chiampa. He is the devoted brother of Suzanne "Sue" McKeon and her late husband Bill, Ginny Chiampa, Mary Ann Chiampa, Michael Chiampa and his wife Janice, Michele Chiampa and Matthew Chiampa and his wife Robin. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mark's visiting hours on Saturday morning, September 28, 2024, from 9 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. followed by his Funeral Service at 11:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
