BRIMFIELD – Paul A. Laflamme, 59, of Brimfield and a longtime resident of Chicopee, was Called Home on Thursday, September 19, 2024. He passed away unexpectedly at the Mystic Shipyard East Marina in Mystic-Stonington, CT. He was born in Holyoke on October 25, 1964, a beloved son of Gabrielle A. (Fontaine) Laflamme of Chicopee and the late Normand D. Laflamme who was Called Home on April 7, 2010. He was raised in Chicopee, graduated in 1983 from Chicopee Comprehensive High School, and moved to Brimfield in 1994 where he lived the remainder of his life. He was a Licensed Electrician for several companies including JT Electric Company and Intel Corporation. Paul loved to be outdoors, boating, fishing, gardening, and working around his home. He will always be remembered as the guy who could fix anything and was always available to lend a helping hand. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and many friends. In addition to his mother, he leaves his two loving and devoted daughters, Sarah A. Laflamme and her fiancé, Aaron Kingman, and Madison R. Laflamme, all of Brookfield; his former wife, Cynthia L. (Bernier) Laflamme of Brookfield; his three dear sisters, Denise A. Corbett and her companion, Gary Melloni, of Southwick, Jeanne L. Holmberg and her husband, Jeffrey, of Wilbraham, and Michelle L. Moutinho and her husband, Thomas, of Gorham, ME; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his dear brother, Donald N. Laflamme who was Called Home on May 21, 1978. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 594 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020 (Please meet directly at the Church). His Burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His family requests that memorial donations be made in Paul’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
