Walsh, Maura O’Neill of Needham, formerly of Lowell, September 21, 2024. Beloved wife of Richard Walsh, Jr. Loving mother of Liam Walsh and his wife Kaitlyn Kenney Walsh of Walpole and Patrick Walsh and his wife Jessica Ayd of Baltimore, MD. She is survived by her siblings Charles T. (Ted) O’Neill and his wife MaryEllen Neylon, Michaelene McCann, Robert O’Neill and his wife Helen, Elena Lovett and her husband Thomas, and J. Patrick O’Neill and his wife Sharon. She is also survived by her six grandchildren Connor, Cormic, Paige, Quinn, Addison, and Riley as well as her dear friend Priscilla Fawcett and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the sister of the late Suellen O’Neill and the sister-in-law of the late Eugene McCann.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., Needham on Thursday, Sept. 26 from 4-7pm. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday, Sept. 27 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada St., #201, Newton, MA 02460.
