Umlene Hilaire (51) of Brockton passed away on September 20th in the Boston Medical Center.
She was born in St. Marc, Haiti daughter of Inatus Hilaire of New York and Edna Mortel of Haiti. Umlene was a home health aide for Scituate Light Caregiver Company and a communicant of Christ the King Parish. She enjoyed cooking and socializing with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents she is survived by 3 brothers, Evelo Michel, Watson Hilaire and Marc Andre Hilaire, 3 sisters, Evena Augusme, Gislance Augusme and Yolanda Hilaire, her second parents who helped raised her Julian Louis and Julienne Louis, 3 godsons, McGregor Jeune, Histo Louis and Bradley Gustin, 3 goddaughters, Heleny Jeune, Gaelle Louis and Dieunise Danger, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday September 26th from 6-9 pm.
Services in the Funeral Home Friday September 27th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman Street Brockton at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
