Mr. David M. Hogan, a lifelong resident of Medford, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. He was 69 years old.
Born in Medford on June 27, 1955, he was the beloved son of the late Edward J. and Margaret A. (Spillane) Hogan. David was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1973. He was employed by the Boston Globe as an Apprentice for more than 40 years. In his spare time, David enjoyed reading about history and was an avid Boston sports fan. He will be dearly missed.
David is survived by his loving brother and sister-in-law; James R. and his wife Diane J. Hogan of Medford and twin sister; Donna M. Bolognese and her fiance Thomas Quigley of Revere and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Paul E. Hogan.
David's funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
