NEW HAMPTON ---- John William Beard, 86, of New Hampton, NH, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH, surrounded by his loving family.
John was born on January 5, 1938, the son of Wally and Bernadette (Ferreira) Beard. He grew up in and was a long-time resident of North Revere, MA.
John loved his 35 years working as an automotive parts manager eventually opening his own parts store with a longtime friend as his business partner.
John’s biggest passion in life was his family and friends. He also greatly enjoyed sports, camping and the outdoors and a good laugh or prank. He had a great curiosity for all things mechanical and a great sense of competition for all things.
John is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Susan (Hall) Beard, son James Beard, daughter Ann Marie Hill and her husband Joe, sister Bernadette Sordillo and first wife Esther Beard. He is also survived by his two nieces, their husbands, three great nieces and his beloved cousins. As well as Susan’s brother, his wife, children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, John is predeceased by his brother George Beard and his wife as well as his brother-in-law.
There will be no calling hours.
