Dennis Ray Whorley, 79, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. He was born on July 9, 1945, in Bedford, VA, a son of the late Clarence and Gertrude (Burnette) Whorley. He had been a resident of Londonderry for the past two years, formerly living in Chester, NJ.
Dennis was an integral part of the Chester, NJ community. He served on the library board for many years and was a member of the Chester Optimist Club. Dennis enjoyed playing guitars and taking beautiful photographs that decorate his family’s homes. He will be sorely missed by all.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy (Strople) Whorley; son, Andy Whorley; two daughters, Shannon Robinson and April Robbins; four grandchildren Hailey Robbins, Cameron Robbins, Winfield Robinson, and Brandon Robbins; and his sister, Carolyn McKee.
Following cremation, the family will hold a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. The Peabody Funeral Home & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
