Patricia Ann (Eagen) Trudeau, age 94, passed away on Sept. 16, 2024. She was born on April 25, 1930 in Springfield, daughter of the late William and Mary (Kelly) Eagen. She was educated in the Springfield Public Schools and is a 1948 graduate of The Technical High School. Patricia worked at the Big Y for many years before she retired. She was active in Springfield Golden Agers and served as treasurer for several years. Her greatest source of joy was her family and was always free with advice and support. Although she did not enjoy cooking, her claim to fame was green bean casserole, which she made for most holidays. She loved playing Bingo at the Moose Club in Chicopee and interacting with many friends there. She was a communicant of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. She is predeceased by her husband Henry Trudeau. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Cross and her husband Lyn of Springfield; Margaret Hagopian and her husband Alan of Springfield and Henrietta Daigneault and her husband Richard of Springfield; one brother William J. Eagen and his wife Ann Carol of West Springfield; six grandchildren, Erin Hagopian, Amy Hagopian, Jonathan Hagopian, Brian Cross and his wife Stephanie, Lucy Shimkus and her husband Kevin, and Matthew Daigneault. She also leaves five beloved great grandchildren, Damen Serafino, Johnathan Alvarez, Sophia Hagopian and Isabella and Owen Cross. She also leaves her beloved friend of 54 years, Joanne (Goodwin) Carroll of Longmeadow. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Home Prayer Service will take place at 11:00 AM followed by Burial in St Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield.
