Boylston- Eleanor (Farmer) Tervo, 94, known to friends and family as “Ellie” passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024 at the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Long Term Care Center. Ellie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Robert J. Tervo , sisters Evelyn Campbell and Esther Schonberg. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ellie was born in Brockton, MA, daughter of the late Walter and Ella (Harreck) Farmer. After graduating from North High School she attended Clark University and then worked as a Supervisor at Guaranty Bank for many years. She was a kind, loving and caring person who had many passions in life. She enjoyed travel whether it be vacationing at Moody Beach in Maine or riding a donkey in Greece. She loved her cats, knitting, listening to music and spending time with family. Also important to her was being a member of the First Congregational Church in Boylston, Ellie led a wonderful, simple, fulfilling life who touched the hearts and souls of many people.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 10-11am at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St, Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11am in the funeral home.
