Mark E. Lovering, 51, of Auburn, NH, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born in Manchester, NH, on November 9, 1972, and was the son of the late David and Barbara (Sargent) Lovering. Mark was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He spent his childhood on Green Acres Farm in Manchester, NH, with his sister Penny, where he often found himself picking and eating berries from the bushes or getting into mischief around the farm. A graduate of Manchester Memorial High School, Mark later moved to Poughkeepsie, NY, before eventually returning to his roots in Manchester.
Later in life, Mark met his wife, Sharon, whom he affectionately called "Sweets" at Manchester Harley Davidson. They eventually moved to Auburn, NH in 1998 where they spent over 25 years raising their children together. Mark had a deep joy and passion for working on and riding Harleys, dedicating 18 years to Manchester Harley Davidson and forming many relationships that became like family.
He also loved cooking for those he cared about and enjoyed listening to music, especially Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Dropkick Murphys, and Ozzy Osbourne—often reenacting Ozzy’s famous call to his wife, also named Sharon, with a playful “Sharon!”
An Irishman through and through, Mark cherished every St. Patrick’s Day, celebrating with corned beef and cabbage and a cold beer. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mark was a beautiful soul with "teddy bear" features and a huge heart, always ready to do anything for anyone, no questions asked.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon R. (Tirban) Lovering of Auburn, his daughter, Kayla Lovering and her partner Sam Lane of Kittery, ME, his sister, Penny Abood and her husband Michael of Manchester, one niece, Brenna Abood of Manchester, one nephew, Peter Abood and his wife Kali of Gilmanton, NH, and two uncles, Brad Sargent and his wife Kim of Auburn, and Jim Sargent of Alabama.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Thursday September 19, 2024 from 6 – 8pm with a time of sharing at 7:40pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Donations in his memory can be sent to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
