Edward C.Ogonosky,a former proud Medford resident and retired Medford Firefighter passed away peacefully on the morning of September 11, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was 77 years old. Born in Charlestown, he was the son of the late Henry and Isabel Ogonosky of Medford. Brother of William Ogonosky and the late Gerald Ogonosky. Beloved father to Edward W. Ogonosky, Stephanie Ogonosky and Amanda Ogonosky and grandfather to Lillie Grace Ogonosky of North Carolina. Great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Edward's passions included fine dining, the “Monday night cooking crew,” good cigars, and golf. Edward(Dad) will forever be our hero, 911. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM on Friday September 20th followed by interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
