Kelleher of Brockton, July 27, John J. “Jack” Kelleher 72 years, beloved husband of Patricia (Wyman) Kelleher. Father of Kathleen Owen of CA, John J. Jr. and Maureen Kelleher both of Brockton, Patricia Smith of FL and James P. of NJ. Stepfather of Sally Kopf of ME, Paul Yuskaitis Jr. of Taunton, Robert Yuskaitis and Catherine Stowe both of Brockton. Brother of Mary Kelleher of Brockton. Also survived by 15 wonderful grandchildren who were the love of his life.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 pm. In celebration of Jack’s life, donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
Obituary
Mr. Kelleher, son of the late John A and Mary (Mahoney) Kelleher, died Thursday, July 27 peacefully surrounded by his family. A lifelong resident of Brockton, Jack attended St. Patrick’s School and graduated from Coyle Cassidy High School in Taunton. Following High School Jack entered the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. After his Military service Jack returned to the states, graduating from Boston College and New England School of Law. Mr. Kelleher was a member of the Brockton VFW, the Easton YMCA swim club and the daily communicants group of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
His passions were his faith and daily mass, golf, reading and the Red Sox. His greatest loves were his wife, his family and most importantly his time spent with his grandchildren Jacqueline, Allie, Peter Jr., Anna, Daniel, Olivia, Waylon, Lila, Hannah, Ezra, Karleigh, Zachasry, Ashleigh, Nathan and Evan.
