BUXTON - Joanne Marie Lamontagne, age 66, sadly passed away September 10, 2024, at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine surrounded by family. Joanne was born April 29, 1958, to parents Walter Cram Sr. and Ethel (Waterhouse) Cram. She was raised alongside her 3 brothers Wally, Paul, and Russell. Joanne graduated from Burncoat Senior High in Worcester, Massachusetts. Following her graduation, she became a CNA and worked at various heathcare facilities until finding her work home at Gorham House for 16 years! Joanne attended Standish Baptist Church and enjoyed going as she could. Over the years, she took interest in country music, attending concerts, visiting The Crossroads and The Brunswick, as well as her deep love for her pets and spending time on the beach.
Joanne is preceded in by her parents Walter Cram Sr. and Ethel (Waterhouse) Cram, as well as her brother Walter (Wally) Cram Jr.
She is survived by her husband Daniel R. Lamontagne married of 44 years, her sons Danny Lamontagne, wife Ashley of Sanford and Brian Lamontagne of Buxton, her grandchildren - John Libby, Cody Lamontagne, Austin Lamontagne, and Jordan Lamontagne, Madison Lamontagne, Haley Lamontagne, her brothers - Paul Cram and Russell Cram, wife Christine of Buxton, her nieces - Ashley Cram Plante and Katie Cram Bloomgren, special cousins - Cindy Estabrook and Bev Shirrell, along with many other cousins and close family. A special thank you to the tremendous staff @ MMC CFT 7. Your care for Joanne and our family was absolutely phenomenal.
Visitation will be held onFriday, October 11th, 2024, from 2-3 PM, followed by a 3pm funeral service at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Rd. (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
