Chad Barboza, Father, son, brother, friend and talented athlete of Worcester Ma passed away on May
30 2024. Chad was the son of Steven Barboza and the late Thea (Samara) Barboza of Yarmouth Ma. A
native Cape Codder; Chad was born on September 24 1982. He attended Dennis Yarmouth Regional High
school where he excelled and was a star athlete in track, basketball, and soccer. Chad attended
Northeastern University on a track scholarship, proud to be following in his grandfather’s footsteps.
Chad later became a well know DJ known as “DJ Cizzle” where he performed at many events on Cape
Cod and in Boston. He also taught Yoga and was a personal trainer.
Chad leaves behind the love of his life, his daughter Malina Barboza and her mother Nina Bey. He also
leaves behind is father Steven Barboza, Steven’s partner Amy Downey of Yarmouth Ma along with her
daughter Jillian Downey, his brothers Noah and Troy Barboza of Long beach California and his close
cousin Teresa Samara of Worcester.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you do a kind deed for someone in need
